Job summary

Consortium Professional Recruitment Ltd is recruiting an Infrastructure Engineer for a manufacturing business in Hessle. You will join an internal IT team, maintain and develop the infrastructure, and support critical systems to stay secure, reliable, and scalable, across multi-site operations.

The role offers exposure to Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure, VMware, and ongoing training. You will contribute to infrastructure projects, document processes, and help improve

Qualifications

• Experience in an IT Infrastructure role supporting business-critical systems.
• Strong understanding of server, directory and cloud technologies.
• Experience with virtualised environments and networking.

Responsibilities

• Providing 2nd and 3rd line support for infrastructure-related issues
• Administering and maintaining Windows Server, Active Directory and Microsoft 365 environments
• Supporting Azure cloud services and hybrid infrastructure
• Managing VMware virtual environments and on-premise servers
• Monitoring and maintaining network infrastructure, firewalls and security solutions
• Supporting infrastructure upgrades, migrations and new technology implementations
• Producing and maintaining technical documentation
• Working with IT colleagues to deliver secure, reliable IT services
• Identifying opportunities to improve performance, security and efficiency
