Site Finance Controller - Pontefract

We are seeking a dedicated Site Finance Controller to join our Pontefract site. As the Site Finance Controller, you will be a member of the site's leadership team, overseeing financial operations for a site with over 140 employees and a turnover exceeding £40 million.

What will you be doing?

• Drive the site’s OGSM (Objectives, Goals, Strategies, and Measures) & G2G (Good to Great) targets setting, tracking, and delivery, ensuring alignment within KP and the Intersnack Group.
• Prepare and communicate weekly, monthly, and annual financial reports and KPIs.
• Monitor and control site budgets.
• Coach and support shop floor teams adhering to IWS ways of working.
• Act as Deputy Lead on Focussed Improvement and Work Process Improvement activities, and be an active member of the Supply Network pillar.
• Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting, including primes, overheads, logistics, and capital expenditure.
• Manage site accruals, prepayments, inventory reconciliations, and support external audits.
• Oversee capital projects, investment appraisals, and asset management.
• Complete product costings for new product development and tenders.
• Manage year-end inventory processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial performance and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Support change programs, focusing on new product launches and capital installations, including project tracking for waste and energy benefits.

Job Requirements

• Fully qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA/CA.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment in a similar financial role, including BOMs and variance analysis.
• Forecasting, planning, and budgeting experience.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems.
