Cambridge County Council is seeking a Site Facilities Officer to join their Facilities Management team. This role involves ensuring building safety, managing maintenance, and liaising with contractors across various sites in Cambridgeshire. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, relevant qualifications, and a proactive approach to facilities management.
A new opportunity has arisen for a Site Facilities Officer to join the Site Facilities Team, primarily based at a CCC office in Cambridge, with periods at New Shire Hall in Alconbury Weald, and regular work across CCC sites throughout Cambridgeshire.
We seek a committed, self-motivated professional to support the CCC Facilities Management and Property Services team. The role involves monitoring maintenance cycles, minor repairs, liaising with contractors and helpdesk, security, building checks, visitor parking, deliveries, supporting corporate events, and ensuring buildings are safe, secure, clean, and fit for purpose.
Applicants should have experience in building facilities and customer service environments, with formal training in property and facilities health and safety preferred. The candidate must be proactive, work independently, contribute to team efforts, and possess excellent communication skills. A full driving license and flexible working are required.
