Portico is seeking an organized and adaptable Facilities Coordinator to join our team based at an office building in Cambridge.
The Facilities Coordinator will assist the Facilities Manager by ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, combining facilities management and front desk reception duties, as well as supervising an additional receptionist.
The successful candidate will handle duties such as maintenance scheduling, vendor coordination, and reacting quickly to urgent issues. They will work collaboratively with staff, contractors, and management to maintain a safe, efficient, and well-functioning facility.
Hours: 40 hours per week, shifts from 8:00-17:00 with a 1-hour unpaid break, Mon-Fri.
Salary: £31,600
The ideal candidate must be comfortable working alone, multitasking, and switching between tasks throughout the day while maintaining a professional and efficient work environment.
They should possess strong organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to prioritize shifting tasks.
This role requires flexibility, quick thinking, and adaptability.
Previous experience in facilities management is preferred but not essential, as well as office administration and reception experience.
An SIA license is highly desirable; however, we are willing to facilitate this training for the right candidate.
