Job summary

McLaughlin & Harvey is seeking an Engineer to join our growing team on high-value sector projects in the UK. You will apply your experience to setting out large-scale contracts, supervise site teams and coordinate subcontractors while ensuring compliance with SHEQ policies and project drawings.

The role requires a degree or equivalent, and a valid driving licence, with SMSTS training preferred. We offer a competitive package and flexible/hybrid working options.

Qualifications

• Degree, HND or equivalent.
• Strong previous experience in a similar role.
• Demonstrable experience in setting out large scale contracts.
• Valid driving licence.
• SMSTS training.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all site activities comply with SHEQ policies.
• Induct site personnel and ensure RAMS are in place.
• Supervise direct site labour and coordinate sub-contractors.
• Manage sub-contract packages and assist project team to meet drawings/specifications.
• Produce RAMS for directly employed labour and approve RAMS for other elements.
• Maintain ITPs, NCRs and project documentation.
• Plan and manage site resources to achieve the programme.
• Maintain daily records for labour, materials and plant.
