Job summary

McLaughlin & Harvey is seeking a Site Engineer to take responsibility for delivering all aspects of civil engineering projects. The role involves ensuring site activities comply with SHEQ policies, setting out using GPS/total station, and coordinating with management and supply chain across varied high-value projects in the UK.

We require an HND in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) and a full UK driving licence, with a willingness to travel throughout the UK.

Qualifications

• HND in Civil Engineering or equivalent in a related field.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Excellent technical knowledge of civil engineering and best practices.
• Willingness to travel and work across the UK.

Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for delivering all aspects of a civil engineering project.
• Ensure site activities comply with SHEQ policies and procedures.
• Set out and level using GPS and total station equipment.
• Develop short term look-ahead programmes with the supply chain.
• Produce progress reports and communicate programme risks to the management team.
