Job summary

Randstad Business Support - London is seeking an experienced Site Engineer near Peterhead to support the delivery of the project's engineering strategy while upholding safety, quality, and efficient resource management on site.

You will manage materials, plant, and labor within budget, enforce CDM compliance, and collaborate with consultants, suppliers, and client representatives to deliver the works on time.

Qualifications

• Essential background as Site Engineer with solid technical expertise and industry best practice knowledge.
• Valid CSCS Card required.
• HNC, HND, or Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) is highly desirable; professional accreditation (MICE / MIStructE) is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of site health and safety, CDM regulations, quality assurance, and material procurement.
• Familiarity with BIM software/models and modern digital construction tools is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Implement the engineering strategy and provide technical guidance on site.
• Manage materials, plant and labor within budget to deliver project safely and on time.
• Maintain quality assurance standards and conduct audits; raise issues to drive improvement.
• Enforce health, safety and CDM compliance with zero-harm mindset.
• Collaborate with consultants, suppliers and client representatives on design solutions and procurement schedules.
• Utilise digital tools and BIM models to monitor progress and produce progress reports.
