Job summary

Randstad Business Support - London is seeking an experienced Section Engineer to join our project delivery team near Peterhead. You will lead engineering controls, quality management, health and safety standards, and productivity tracking across site operations.

The role requires setting out, managing ACPs and RAMS, weekly programmes, and close collaboration with subcontractors and suppliers. A valid driver's license is essential to access the site.

Qualifications

• Experience carrying out complex setting out on civil infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of ACPs, specifications and contract documents.
• Practical RAMS creation and permits to work, and safety controls.
• Experience with 13-week stage programmes and weekly targets.
• Understanding subcontractor terms and supplier outputs.

Responsibilities

• Carry out complex setting out and mentor junior staff.
• Produce ACPs, maintain quality records, raise NCRs/TQs.
• Prepare RAMS, manage Permits to Work, visitor inductions.
• Develop weekly programmes aligned with stage plans and KPIs.
• Collate weekly measures and monitor costs and waste.
