Job summary

Randstad CPE is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a project near Peterhead, overseeing engineering strategy and site operations.

You will ensure technical assurance, safety, quality control, and efficient resource management on site, coordinating with consultants and suppliers to support project delivery.

Essential qualifications include HNC/HND/degree in Civil Engineering, CSCS, BIM familiarity, and a valid driving license; accreditation (MICE/MIStructE) is a plus.

Qualifications

• Site Engineer with strong technical expertise and best-practice knowledge.
• CSCS card (valid) required.
• HNC/HND or Civil Engineering degree; accreditation (MICE/MIStructE) a plus.
• Solid knowledge of CDM, health & safety, QA and procurement.
• Familiarity with BIM software/models and modern digital tools.
• Excellent communication and team leadership under time pressure.
• Valid driving license to access the site.

Responsibilities

• Implement the engineering strategy and provide on-site technical guidance.
• Manage materials, plant and labour within budget for timely delivery.
• Maintain QA standards, conduct audits, raise issues to drive improvements.
• Enforce health, safety and CDM compliance for safe installation and maintenance.
• Collaborate with consultants, suppliers and client reps on design and procurement.
