Job summary

EKFB is recruiting a Site Engineer for the Green Tunnels team in Greatworth to support civil works for HS2. The role involves setting out, coordinating M&E activities, and liaising with Sub Agent to manage labour, plant, and materials.

You will work with a setting-out team, oversee junior engineers, and resolve technical issues with subcontractors while ensuring programme and budget adherence for the Banbury area.

Qualifications

• HNC/Degree (Construction/M&E related) or equivalent.
• CSCS card (White/White-Yellow/Red - Experienced, Black - Manager or Gold - Supervisor) required.
• Previous structures experience preferred.
• Experience in highways or structures essential.
• Driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Supervise junior engineers on site and assist construction operations in the Banbury area.
• Liaise with the Sub Agent and Section Foreman to allocate labour, plant and materials.
• Coordinate M&E Sub-Contractors and resolve technical problems on site with senior team.
• Contribute to programmes, progress reports, resource and cost plans, and forecasting.
