Job summary

EKFB in Buckingham is recruiting a Site Engineer to join the setting-out team on the HS2 project. You will liaise with the Sub Agent and Section Foreman to allocate labour, plant and materials to meet standards, programme and budget.

You will supervise junior engineers, resolve technical on-site problems with the senior team, coordinate subcontractors, and help produce programmes, progress reports, and cost forecasts.

Qualifications

• HNC/Degree in Construction/Civil Engineering or equivalent and working towards ICE membership

Responsibilities

• Liaise with Sub Agent and Section Foreman to allocate labour, plant and materials to carry out works to standards, programme and budget.
• Supervise setting-out team and develop junior engineers; identify and resolve technical problems on site with senior team.
• Coordinate subcontractors to ensure works meet contractual requirements and on-site information/resources are available.
• Assist production of programmes, progress reports, resource and cost plans, and contribute to financial forecasting.
