Job summary

Carrington West are seeking Site Engineers for a highways project based in Uttoxeter. The role involves night-shift site engineering, setting-out and liaison with the project team to ensure high-quality delivery.

Candidates should hold a Civil Engineering degree and relevant highway standards experience, with CSCS, SSSTS and EUSR 1&2. Immediate start available for a short-term contract. Rate £490 umbrella/PAYE for a 2-month duration.

Qualifications

• Degree or higher in Civil Engineering (BSc/MSc/HND/BA in Civil Engineering)
• Knowledge of highways standards and procedures
• Experience with high-speed road projects and setting out engineering
• Experience working for a major highway contractor
• CSCS, SSSTS and EUSR certifications

Site Engineer required for highways project in Uttoxeter Site Engineer- Highways Location: Uttoxeter Rate: £490 Umbrella PAYE Duration: 2 months Shift Pattern: Night Shifts

Carrington West are working with a highway's contractor in their search for a number of Site based Engineers to focus on the delivery of highways works in the region.

Works will be carried out over night shifts, covering all aspects of highways site engineering and setting-out.

As Site Engineer you will be tasked with:

• Liaising with the project team to ensure the project is delivered to a high quality and on time
• Scanning and identification of services
• Setting out of roads, kerbing etc
• Keeping daily records of site activities & Supervision of the site.

You will also hold:

• A Degree, Bachelors, MSc or HND in Civil Engineering
• Knowledge and experience of Highways standards and procedures
• Knowledge and experience of high-speed road projects and setting out engineering
• Experience working for a major highway's contractor
• CSCS qualification
• SSSTS
• EUSR 1&2
