Job summary

Carrington West has been engaged to source a Senior Site Engineer for local highways projects in Oxford. The role focuses on day-shift delivery of highways site engineering and intricate improvements, working with a national UK highways contractor.

The Senior Site Engineer will liaise with the project team to ensure timely, high-quality delivery, guide junior engineers, and be responsible for setting out roads and earthworks while keeping daily records and safety compliant.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or higher is required.
• Highways experience is preferred.
• CSCS/SMSTS/TWS/TWC qualifications are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with the project team to ensure high-quality, on-time delivery.
• Provide guidance and direction to junior members of the team.
• Set out roads, earthworks and related highway elements.
• Maintain daily site records, ITP checksheets, permits and health and safety compliance.

LTD Payment - Senior Site Engineer!

Senior Site Engineer required for local highways works across Oxford

Carrington West is working with a national UK highways contractor in their search for a Senior Site Engineer to focus on the delivery of local highways projects in the region.

Works will be carried out predominantly over day shifts, covering all aspects of highways site engineering and focusing on intricate highways improvements.

As Senior Site Engineer you will be tasked with:

• Liaising with the project team to ensure the project is delivered to a high quality and on time
• Offering guidance and direction to more junior members of the team
• Setting out of roads, earthworks etc
• Keeping daily records of site activities, ITP checksheets, permits and Heath and Safety.

You will also hold:

• A Degree, Bachelors, MSc or HND in Civil Engineering
• Knowledge and experience of Highways standards and procedures
• Knowledge and experience of high-speed road projects and setting out engineering
• Experience working for a major highway's contractor
• CSCS, SMSTS & TWS/TWC qualification
