Job summary

TRIbuild Solutions Limited is recruiting a Nightshift Site Engineer to work on a major highways scheme at the M65 Junction 6. This temporary role requires night shifts and offers an Umbrella CIS arrangement. You will be responsible for setting out drainage, kerbs, CKDs and gullies, issuing permits, CAT scanning, and producing as-built documentation while supporting the site team.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Site Engineer in highways or civils.
• CAT scanning competence.
• Valid CSCS card.
• SSSTS.
• Highways Passport.
• Willingness to work nights.

Contract Type: Temporary / Contract (Umbrella CIS accepted)

Rate: Circa £500 - £550 per shift

Duration: Two positions available: one for circa 8 weeks and one for circa 12 weeks, with potential for extension.

Key Responsibilities

• CAT scanning and associated utility avoidance checks
• Issuing permits
• Setting out drainage, kerbs, CKDs and gullies
• Marking up identified dig-down areas
• Preparing as-built documentation
• Producing progress reports
• Providing general engineering support to the site team, including but not limited to the above

Essential Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Site Engineer within highways or civils
• CAT scanning competence
• Valid CSCS card
• SSSTS
• Highways Passport
• Willingness and ability to work nights

Desirable Skills

• Previous experience on live highways or motorway junction schemes
• Strong setting out and as-built recording experience
