Job summary

Bimplus in the United Kingdom seeks a Quantity Surveyor to join our growing construction team. You will manage commercial aspects on multiple regional projects, from refurbishment to new build, ensuring value for money and strong client and subcontractor relationships.

This hands-on role offers project budgeting, valuation, and final account management with close collaboration with site teams, suppliers and the office, and potential to broaden into project management responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Experience as Quantity Surveyor in construction contracting.
• Strong understanding of costs, variations, valuations and final accounts.
• Experience across refurbishment, fit-out, maintenance or similar projects.
• Typically involved on projects around £1m–£2m in value.
• Excellent communication with clients, subcontractors and site teams.
• Hands-on, proactive with ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Managing commercial aspects of multiple construction, refurbishment and fit-out projects.
• Preparing, reviewing and managing project budgets, costs and valuations.
• Monitoring project performance, variations, subcontractor accounts and final accounts.
• Working closely with site teams to manage labour, resources, costs and programme requirements.
• Liaising directly with clients, subcontractors and suppliers to maintain strong commercial relationships.
• Supporting the delivery of projects from pre-construction through to completion.
• Taking a hands-on approach to project management where required to keep projects on programme.
• Ensuring projects are delivered commercially and operationally to a high standard.
