Job summary

Bimplus is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team for fit out and refurbishment projects in the UK. You will oversee commercial delivery across a portfolio of interior construction works, from pre-construction through final account.

The role requires strong commercial awareness, cost control, and collaboration with site teams, clients and subcontractors. Salary £50,000–£70,000 plus package, based in Southampton, full-time permanent position.

Qualifications

Experience in fit out, refurbishment, interiors or related construction environments.
Strong commercial awareness and ability to manage project costs.
Experience with subcontractor procurement, valuations, variations and final accounts.
Good understanding of construction contracts and commercial risk.
Ability to work with site teams, project managers, clients and supply chain partners.

Responsibilities

Manage commercial aspects from tender to final account.
Prepare and review budgets, valuations, variations, forecasts.
Manage subcontractor procurement, tendering, accounts and performance.
Monitor project costs and identify commercial risks.
Coordinate with project management and site teams to align commercial and operational goals.
Support delivery with strong cost control and contractual compliance.
