Job summary

Velocity Recruitment Ltd. is seeking a skilled Document Controller to support projects across North London and Bedfordshire. The role requires meticulous document handling, using Viewpoint for Projects and Dalux, across two on-site locations.

You will maintain document registers, ensure accurate distribution of drawings and technical documents, and liaise with site teams and subcontractors to uphold compliant information management standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Document Controller in the construction industry.
• Experience using Viewpoint for Projects and Dalux.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with site teams.
• A proactive approach, with the ability to manage competing priorities across two locations.
• Good knowledge of document control procedures and revision management.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain project documentation using Viewpoint for Projects and Dalux.
• Ensure drawings, technical documents and project information are uploaded, recorded and distributed accurately.
• Maintain document registers and ensure all revisions are correctly tracked.
• Support project teams with document control processes and information requests.
• Ensure documentation is stored in line with company procedures and project requirements.
• Liaise with site teams, subcontractors, consultants and other stakeholders.
• Help maintain compliance with document control procedures and information management standards.
