Job summary

Orbit Workforce Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join a well-established contractor based in Yatton. This hands-on, site-based role involves travel to multiple projects and managing subcontractors to deliver shopfitting and retail refurbishment safely and on programme.

You will oversee Site Managers and trades across nationwide projects, ensure RAMS and site documentation, monitor progress, and maintain health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Contracts/Project Manager in shopfitting or retail refurbishment.
• SMSTS qualification held and knowledge of RAMS/Health & Safety practices.
• CSCS card, ideally manager level.
• Willingness to travel to multiple nationwide sites.
• Strong organisation and site coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing multiple shopfitting and refurbishment projects across different sites.
• Managing and coordinating Site Managers, subcontractors and trades.
• Ensuring labour, materials and equipment are organised and available.
• Planning and monitoring project programmes to keep works on schedule.
• Carrying out site visits to monitor progress, quality and safety.
• Maintaining RAMS and site documentation and health and safety requirements.
• Liaising with subcontractors to confirm attendance and prevent delays.
• Identifying and recording additional works and variations.
• Completing site progress reports and planning upcoming works.
• Resolving issues efficiently to ensure smooth project delivery.
