Orbit Workforce Solutions Ltd is recruiting for an experienced Contracts Manager to join a well-established contractor based in Yatton. The role involves hands-on, site-based work with travel to multiple projects, managing subcontractors and coordinating materials to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and on programme.

You will oversee shopfitting and refurbishment projects, liaise with Site Managers and trades, and ensure RAMS and safety requirements are maintained across sites

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Contracts Manager or Project Manager in shopfitting, retail fit-out or refurbishment.
• SMSTS
• CSCS Card (Ideally manager-level)
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Good understanding of Health & Safety procedures, including RAMS.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple shopfitting and refurbishment projects across different sites.
• Manage and coordinate Site Managers, subcontractors and trades.
• Ensure labour, materials and equipment are organised and available when required.
• Plan and monitor project programmes to keep works on schedule.
• Carry out regular site visits to monitor progress, quality and Safety.
• Ensure RAMS, site documentation and Health & Safety requirements are maintained.
• Liaise with subcontractors to confirm attendance and prevent delays.
• Identify and record additional works and variations.
• Complete site progress reports and plan upcoming works.
• Resolve issues efficiently to ensure smooth project operations.

Our client delivers shopfitting and retail refurbishment projects nationwide, working with a range of well-known retail brands.

We are looking for a highly organised, proactive and experienced Contracts Manager with a strong background in shopfitting or retail fit-out. This is a hands-on, site-based role involving travel to multiple projects, managing subcontractors, coordinating materials and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and on programme.

Key Responsibilities:

• Overseeing multiple shopfitting and refurbishment projects across different sites.

• Managing and coordinating Site Managers, subcontractors and trades.

• Ensuring all labour, materials and equipment are organised and available when required.

• Planning and monitoring project programmes to ensure works remain on schedule.

• Carrying out regular site visits to monitor progress, quality and Health & Safety.

• Ensuring RAMS, site documentation and Health & Safety requirements are maintained.
