Job summary

Ramboll's UK Environment and Health team is seeking a Consents Manager to discharge DCO requirements, manage secondary consents and ensure environmental compliance across major infrastructure projects. This site‑based role will work with contractors, planners and regulators to keep works moving in line with consented commitments.

You will lead consent trackers, support multi‑disciplinary bids and mentor junior colleagues, spending most weeks on site in Lincolnshire, Cambridgeshire or Suffolk and

Qualifications

• Experience in discharge of DCO requirements and secondary consents.
• Knowledge of UK environmental legislation and regulatory processes.
• Experience preparing consent applications, discharge and compliance trackers.
• Ability to translate commitments into practical controls and checks.
• On-site collaboration with contractors and delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead management of DCO requirements, secondary consents and environmental compliance across projects.
• Develop and maintain discharge trackers, consent registers and evidence bundles.
• Engage regulators and authorities to resolve issuing and drive approvals.
• Review environmental permissions and translate commitments into controls and checks.
• Provide on-site support to contractors and ensure timely close-out evidence.
• Advise on design, land, methodology and programme changes with consent requirements.
• Contribute to proposals, budgets and delivery plans for consenting and environmental management.
