Job summary

Assystem UK Ltd seeks a senior Consents & Compliance Lead to coordinate DCO consent delivery across large infrastructure programmes. You will provide technical guidance to project teams and maintain key registers, ensuring risk-based management supports schedule and cost objectives.

Lead small to mid-sized consents teams, embed governance standards, support audits, and engage stakeholders to secure timely approvals.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years' experience in consents or planning roles across major infrastructure projects.
• Experience delivering DCO or equivalent statutory consenting requirements.
• Experience operating within NEC or comparable contractual frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex decision-making across multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the coordination and delivery of consents and commitments across defined programme areas.
• Provide technical advice on DCO compliance and statutory requirements to programme teams.
• Manage consents management with a risk-based approach and maintain Commitments Registers.
• Lead governance, audits and assurance activities and mentor junior consultants.
