Job summary

Ramboll in the UK is seeking an Environment and Consents Manager to discharge DCO requirements and manage environmental consents on major infrastructure projects. The role is predominantly site-based with travel to Lincolnshire, Cambridgeshire or Suffolk and offices in Norwich or Cambridge.

You will lead regulatory engagement, develop trackers and evidence packs, and provide practical, on-site guidance to delivery teams while shaping compliant project schedules.

Qualifications

• Experience in DCO requirement discharge and secondary consents.
• Knowledge of UK environmental legislation and regulatory processes.
• Experience preparing consent applications and evidence packs.
• Comfort on site with contractors and teams.
• Strong written communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead management of DCO requirements and environmental compliance.
• Develop trackers, registers, packs, and stakeholder briefings.
• Engage regulators and authorities to drive approvals.
• Interpret environmental permissions and translate into controls.
• Provide on-site support to contractors.
• Advise on design and programme changes for consenting.
• Contribute to proposals and mentor juniors.
