Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Site-Based Mobile Cleaner to cover Leeds, Doncaster and Sheffield areas. You will perform routine cleaning tasks across multiple sites, ensuring high standards of cleanliness for residents and staff. Training will be provided, with a focus on health, safety and customer service.

The role requires reliability, teamwork and the ability to work early shifts in a residential setting with vulnerable individuals. A strong commitment to hygiene and safety is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role is desirable; full training will be provided on health and safety.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work at a fast pace and adapt to change when needed.
• Be a team player and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Focus on completing the scheduled cleaning tasks.
• Periodically perform deep cleaning as instructed by supervisor.
• Clean and presentably maintain kitchens, toilets and communal areas.
• Replenish stock and consumables such as toilet tissue and hand soap.
• Work with security to report faults or hazards and keep areas clean.
• Maintain an approachable attitude at all times.

Job Introduction

We are seeking a dedicated Site-Based Cleaning Operative to join our team covering sites in the Leeds / Doncaster / Sheffield area. In this role, you'll play a key part in maintaining high standards of cleanliness across the site. Your efforts will directly contribute to the health, hygiene, and comfort of the residents and staff at each site. Approved Premises play a key role in supporting individuals released from prison, offering enhanced supervision and rehabilitation within the community. This role will give you insight into working in a residential setting with vulnerable and complex individuals, providing meaningful work that supports positive change.

What you'll do

• Focus on the details and complete a list of scheduled cleaning tasks
• Periodic deep cleaning of certain areas, instructed by supervisor
• Ensure all areas, including kitchens, toilets, and communal areas, are cleaned and presentable
• Replenishing stock and consumables such as toilet tissue and hand soaps
• Work closely with the security team, reporting any faults or hazards, whilst also helping maintain the cleanliness of their areas too!
• This role requires you to have an approachable attitude

What you bring

• Previous experience in a similar role, with knowledge of cleaning solutions and their uses is desirable, but not essential — our great training will ensure you are fully trained in all areas of health and safety!
