Job summary

Kier Group is seeking a Site Agent for the East West Rail programme in St Neots, Cambridgeshire. You will lead site operations, coordinate crews and stakeholders, and ensure survey and investigation works meet safety, quality and environmental standards.

Applicants should have civil engineering qualifications (HNC/HND or degree), a valid SMSTS, and a full UK driving licence with willingness to travel across the project area. This is a hybrid role with permanent full-time hours (45 per week).

Qualifications

• Experience delivering civil engineering or major infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety, CDM 2015 and safe systems of work.
• Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel across the project area.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day delivery of survey and investigation activities across multiple sites.
• Manage supervisors, engineers, operatives, subcontractors and suppliers on site.
• Ensure works comply with health and safety policies, CDM 2015, RAMS and permits.
• Coordinate land access, stakeholder engagement and relationships with landowners.
• Monitor progress against programmes and maintain accurate records and quality documentation.
