Job summary

Our client is a leading UK civil engineering contractor with national coverage and a varied long-term project portfolio.

They seek an experienced Site Agent to oversee site delivery, ensure safety and quality, and manage budgets while liaising with suppliers and clients.

Hybrid working is available with three days on site or in the Northwest or Nottinghamshire offices, offering opportunity and progression.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Site Agent in civil engineering
• Full UK driving licence and safety tickets (CSCS, SMSTS/SSSTS)
• Experience with Tier 1 contractors and site teams

Responsibilities

• Deliver civil works on site per design, safety, and timelines
• Support bids through preconstruction and manage handover
• Lead site teams and supervise subcontractors and equipment
• Ensure QA and compliance with technical standards
• Maintain RAMS / WPPs and health, safety, and environmental procedures
• Produce progress reports for project management
