Job summary

Bennett & Game Recruitment Ltd. are seeking a Site Agent to join a growing Civil Engineering and Geotechnical contractor delivering projects across Sussex, Kent and Wessex. Based in Basingstoke, you’ll lead site delivery on earthworks, drainage and embankments within a live infrastructure environment.

You’ll work with Works Managers and site teams to ensure safety, programme and commercial targets. Rail experience is advantageous; a CSCS card, full UK driving licence and willingness to travel

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Site Agent or similar in civil engineering.
• Strong earthworks, heavy civils or geotechnical experience.
• Rail / Network Rail experience is highly advantageous.
• Experience delivering projects in live infrastructure environments.
• Strong client-facing and communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Flexible travel with weekend/possession works.

Responsibilities

• Deliver day-to-day site operations, coordinating works with managers and site teams.
• Ensure safe, efficient, and commercially viable delivery.
• Liaise with clients and suppliers, manage site logistics.
• Oversee earthworks, drainage, platforms, and related packages.
