Job summary

Barhale is seeking a Site Agent/Manager to lead site delivery across Civils and Water sectors in the Anglian Water region. You will oversee on-site activities, ensure safety, quality, environmental standards and cost control while coordinating with Contracts Manager and engineers to meet programme objectives.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree (or equivalent), CSCS, IOSH SMSTS, and a track record delivering regulated projects. Barhale offers extensive benefits and career development.

Qualifications

• Essential: Experience in Civil Engineering/site delivery for a contractor in regulated environments.
• Essential: CDM, Design Management, Programme and Risk Management knowledge.
• Essential: Degree/HNC in Civil Engineering or equivalent; CSCS; IOSH/SMSTS; Temporary Works Coordinator; Confined space training.

Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for successful delivery of projects in Civils and Water sectors.
• Lead a team of Sub Agents, Engineers and Foremen to deliver work safely and to quality.
• Ensure Project Plans, RAMS, ITP and Waste Management Plans are implemented.
• Maximise contract value and maintain detailed site records and cost control.
• Produce and manage construction programme and 2-week look-ahead; prepare procurement schedules.
