Job summary

Story Contracting Limited is seeking a Site Agent to lead planning and delivery for a small to medium project from our Chorley office in the North West. You will drive safety, schedule, and commercial performance while coordinating the project team.

We value strong client relationships, robust procurement, and delivering against contract requirements. SMSTS and HNC-level background are preferred, with a focus on leadership and quality across the site.

Qualifications

• Qualified to HNC level in a relevant technical discipline or relevant experience.
• SMSTS qualification and extensive civil engineering knowledge are desirable.
• Experience in leading people, performance and processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and delivery for a single small to medium project.
• Coordinate the project team through delivery and close out.
• Ensure safety components and documentation are completed on site.
• Manage baseline programme and align with contract requirements.
• Oversee procurement and subcontractor selection within approved supply chain.
• Maintain client relationships and report progress per contract.
