Job summary

Pertemps Tm seeks an experienced Site Agent for a key civil engineering scheme based in Bridgwater, Somerset. The role requires delivering infrastructure projects safely, on time and within budget, with strong site leadership and coordination of subcontractors and labour.

The ideal candidate will hold a Civil Engineering qualification (or related discipline), a valid CSCS card and SMSTS certification, plus a full UK/EEC driving licence.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering civil engineering or infrastructure schemes.
• Strong understanding of health & safety management within construction.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day site operations and coordinate site activities.
• Manage subcontractors, direct labour and site teams.
• Ensure full compliance with health & safety legislation and company procedures.
• Liaise with clients, stakeholders and the wider project team.
• Monitor programme, quality and cost control.
• Ensure accurate site documentation and reporting.
