Job summary

360 Recruitment is seeking an experienced Site Agent to join a leading civil engineering contractor on a £10 million Cheshire scheme. The role focuses on safe, efficient delivery, meeting programme, budget and quality targets.

You will lead site operations, coordinate teams and suppliers, and manage costs while ensuring HSE and quality standards. A background in earthworks, drainage or highways is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working as Site Agent in civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
• Strong background in earthworks, drainage, highways or general civils schemes.
• Experience managing projects valued up to £10 million+.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of health and safety legislation and site management processes.
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications.
• HND, HNC or Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline preferred.

Responsibilities

• Managing day-to-day site operations and project delivery.
• Coordinating site teams, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards.
• Producing and monitoring programmes of work.
• Managing project documentation and reporting requirements.
• Monitoring project costs and identifying opportunities for efficiencies.
• Liaising with clients, stakeholders and the wider project team.
• Supporting commercial functions including variations and change management.
• Driving productivity while maintaining highest workmanship standards.
