Job summary

Kier Group plc is recruiting a Site Agent to join the Thames Water team on a major infrastructure upgrade at Maple Lodge Sewage Treatment Works, Maple Cross. You’ll lead a critical section of works, drive safety, and deliver milestones through strong leadership of site teams and subcontractors.

The role requires an engineering degree or equivalent experience, CSCS, and good command of MS Office. You’ll translate designs into practical delivery, mentor engineers, and help shape a resilient

Qualifications

• HNC/HND or Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or equivalent.
• Experience on infrastructure or wastewater construction projects.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, technical specs and design packages.
• Valid CSCS card and full driving licence.
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency in MS Office and construction software.

Job description

We're looking for a Site Agent to join our Thames Water team based in Maple Cross. Location: Maple Cross, Rickmansworth Hours: Perm, full time - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us. Join us as a Site Agent on one of Thames Water's most significant infrastructure upgrades at Maple Lodge Sewage Treatment Works. This major scheme will play a vital role in increasing treatment capacity, improving environmental performance and strengthening long-term resilience for the region. It's an opportunity to be part of a high-profile project that combines complex civil, mechanical, electrical and process engineering challenges with meaningful outcomes for customers, communities and the environment. This is a rare chance to take ownership of a critical section of works on a project designed for the future.
As a Site Agent, you'll be working within the Thames Water team, supporting them in delivering exceptional outcomes on this major infrastructure project.

Qualifications & Requirements

• You have an HNC/HND or Bachelor's degree (or demonstrable equivalent experience) in civil engineering discipline
• You have practical experience working on infrastructure or wastewater construction projects, with a focus on engineering assurance
• You have the ability to read and interpret construction drawings, technical specifications and design packages
• You hold a valid CSCS card and Full driving licence
• You have excellent communication skills and proficiency in MS Office and construction-related software
