Enable Resourcing Limited is partner to a leading civil engineering and utilities contractor recruiting an experienced Site Agent for water treatment projects in the UK. You will take ownership from inception through delivery, leading site teams and liaising with Project Managers and stakeholders to ensure safe, on-time, on-budget completion.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Site Agent within water, utilities or civil engineering sectors.
• 6–12 months sewage/water treatment project experience.
• Practical working knowledge of NEC contracts.
• Experience managing civil engineering, utilities or non-infrastructure construction projects.
• Strong understanding of CDM Regulations and construction health & safety requirements.
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience managing subcontractors, direct labour and site resources.
• Degree or HNC in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Valid SMSTS.

Job description

Enable Resourcing are working with a leading civil engineering and utilities contractor to recruit an experienced Site Agent to join their growing project delivery team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven Site Agent with experience delivering water and wastewater treatment projects to take ownership of schemes from inception through to completion. Working alongside Project Managers, commercial teams and site-based staff, you will be responsible for the safe, efficient and commercially successful delivery of projects across the water sector.

The Role

As Site Agent, you will oversee all site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme and within budget whilst maintaining the highest standards of quality and environmental compliance.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing the day-to-day delivery of civil engineering and water infrastructure projects.
• Leading site teams, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Ensuring full compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards.
• Monitoring programme performance and driving project delivery.
• Managing resources, labour and plant requirements.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Identifying and mitigating project risks.
• Supporting commercial performance and cost control.

Requirements

To be considered, candidates must have:

• Proven experience as a Site Agent within the water, utilities or civil engineering sectors.
• A minimum of 6-12 months' sewage treatment and water treatment project experience.
• Practical working knowledge of NEC contracts.
• Experience managing civil engineering, utilities or non-infrastructure construction projects.
• Strong understanding of CDM Regulations and construction health & safety requirements.
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience managing subcontractors, direct labour and site resources.
• Degree or HNC in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Valid SMSTS.
• CSCS Card.
• NEBOSH or IOSH qualification.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
