Job summary

Abatec is recruiting a freelance Site Agent to join a specialist earthworks contractor on a long-term civil engineering project in Portsmouth. The role requires a background in civil engineering and earthworks, with CSCS and SMSTS qualifications.

You will oversee daily site activities, drive improvements, ensure compliance with HSE and quality standards, and manage relationships with client, subcontractors and suppliers while keeping budgets and schedules on track.

Qualifications

• CSCS and SMSTS required.
• Good understanding of health & safety protocols.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Background in civil engineering.
• Experience in earthworks is desirable.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have a previous background in civil engineering and earthworks.

As a Site Agent, you will:
