Job summary

Abatec Recruitment is seeking a Sub Agent to join one of Southwest's major Civil Engineering projects in Plymouth, Devon.

The successful candidate will manage technical compliance to the design, produce RAMS and ITPs, and act as on-site contact to ensure work is carried out safely, on time, and to the required quality. Experience in the water sector, plus an HNC/Degree in Civil Engineering and SMSTS/CSCS are required.

Qualifications

• RAMS and ITPs preparation is required.
• On-site point of contact responsibilities on a major Civils project.
• Ability to ensure quality documentation meets company standards.

Responsibilities

• Produce RAMS and ITPs.

• Manage the Site Engineers and resolve technical queries with main contractor reps.
• Liaise with main contractor representatives on project progress.

Abatec is recruiting for a Sub Agent to join one of Southwest's biggest Civil Engineering projects. This is an opportunity to join an award-winning tier-one contractor that has secured an exciting, challenging, and ongoing project in Plymouth, Devon.

The successful candidate will have previously worked in a similar position on major projects and will be required to manage the technical compliance of the project to the design specification to fulfil the assigned project safely, on time, and to the required quality.

As Sub Agent you will:

• Produce RAMS and ITP's
• Act as a point of contact on site
• Ensure all quality documentation is completed to company standards
• Manage the Site Engineers, resolving any technical queries, liaising with the main contractor representatives.
• Have previous experience of working in the water sector.

Our client requires a Sub Agent with:

• HNC/Degree or in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience of working in a similar position for a Civils contractor
• SMSTS, CSCS card.

Salary/Benefits:

• £450 - £500 p/day (PAYE/Umbrella)
