Job summary

Randstad CPE is recruiting two Site Agents to oversee civil engineering, water infrastructure and capital delivery projects across Scotland. Office-based in Inverness with travel across Scotland and lodge support for site operations.

The role demands a background in water/wastewater or civils, a recognised Civil Engineering qualification, and strong RAMS/ITP/CDM experience. You’ll manage budgets, supervise site teams, and coordinate subcontractors on a long-term framework.

Qualifications

• HNC/HND/Degree or NVQ in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent.
• SMSTS certification or equivalent advantageous.
• CSCS Card (Manager/Professional) required.
• Proven track record delivering site work on water/wastewater, pipelines or civils infrastructure.
• Strong RAMS, ITPs and CDM compliance experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee site delivery across Scotland for water infrastructure and civils projects.
• Ensure RAMS, ITPs and CDM compliance on all works.
• Manage project budgets, daily site allocations, variations and procurement of plant and materials.
• Coordinate site teams and subcontractors and travel across multiple sites in Scotland (lodge provided).

We at Randstad are partnering with a major tier-one civil infrastructure contractor to recruit two Site Agents for civil engineering, capital maintenance, water mains renewal, and wastewater treatment projects across Scotland.

The successful candidate will have:

• HNC, HND, Degree, or NVQ equivalent in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent.
• SMSTS
• CSCS Card (Manager/Professional)
• Proven track record running site delivery on water/wastewater, pipelines, or general civils infrastructure
• Strong operational knowledge of RAMS, ITPs, 3-week lookahead programming, subbie management, and CDM compliance
• Experience managing project budgets, daily site allocations, variations, and procurement of plant and materials
• Willingness to work a site-based role with flexibility to travel across multiple sites in Scotland (with full lodge support).
• First Aid at Work Certificate
• Temporary Works Supervisor / Coordinator (TWS/TWC)
