Job summary

Randstad CPE is seeking an experienced Site Agent for civil infrastructure projects across Scotland, including water mains renewal and wastewater treatment. The role is office-based in Inverness with Scotland-wide site delivery and a direct framework pipeline offering stability.

You will oversee RAMS, ITPs, 3-week lookahead planning, and supplier management, with travel and lodge support provided for multiple sites across Scotland.

Qualifications

• HNC/HND/Degree or NVQ equivalent in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Run site delivery on water/wastewater, pipelines or general civils infrastructure.
• Manage budgets, daily site allocations, variations and procurement of plant and materials.
• Ensure RAMS, ITPs and CDM compliance; coordinate subbies and lookahead programming.

Employment type - Permanent Position

Salary - Up to £55,000 / year (negotiable) + £6k car allowance + working away allowance

Location - Office based in Inverness, required for working across Scotland

Are you an experienced Site Agent with water or general civils infrastructure experience looking for guaranteed long-term stability in Scotland? We at Randstad are partnering with a major tier-one civil infrastructure contractor to recruit two Site Agents for civil engineering, capital maintenance, water mains renewal, and wastewater treatment projects across Scotland.

The successful candidate will have:

• HNC, HND, Degree, or NVQ equivalent in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent.
• SMSTS
• CSCS Card (Manager/Professional)
• Proven track record running site delivery on water/wastewater, pipelines, or general civils infrastructure
• Strong operational knowledge of RAMS, ITPs, 3-week lookahead programming, subbie management, and CDM compliance
• Experience managing project budgets, daily site allocations, variations, and procurement of plant and materials
• Willingness to work a site-based role with flexibility to travel across multiple sites in Scotland (with full lodge support).

Desirable:

• First Aid at Work Certificate
• EUSR Water Hygiene Card
• Temporary Works Supervisor / Coordinator (TWS/TWC)
