Job summary

Kier Group in Maple Cross is recruiting a Site Agent to join Thames Water's Maple Lodge Sewage Treatment Works upgrade. The role focuses on leading a key section of works, delivering safe, on-time construction and coordinating site teams.

You will translate design information into practical delivery, drive progress with planning and resource management, and mentor engineers and supervisors within a high-profile civil project.

Qualifications

• HNC/HND or Bachelor's degree (or demonstrable equivalent) in civil engineering discipline.
• Practical experience on infrastructure or wastewater construction projects with an emphasis on engineering assurance.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, technical specifications and design packages.
• CSCS card and a Full driving licence.
• Excellent communication skills with proficiency in MS Office and construction-related software.

Job description

We're looking for a Site Agent to join our Thames Water team based in Maple Cross.

Location: Maple Cross, Rickmansworth
Hours: Perm, full time - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

Join us as aSite Agent on one of Thames Water's most significant infrastructure upgrades at Maple Lodge Sewage Treatment Works. This major scheme will play a vital role in increasing treatment capacity, improving environmental performance and strengthening long-term resilience for the region. It's an opportunity to be part of a high-profile project that combines complex civil, mechanical, electrical and process engineering challenges with meaningful outcomes for customers, communities and the environment. This is a rare chance to take ownership of a critical section of works on a project designed for the future.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Site Agent, you'll be working within the Thames Water team, supporting them in delivering exceptional outcomes on this major infrastructure project. Your day to day will include:

What are we looking for?

This role of Site Agent is great for you if:

• You have an HNC/HND or Bachelor's degree (or demonstrable equivalent experience) in civil engineering discipline
• You have practical experience working on infrastructure or wastewater construction projects, with a focus on engineering assurance
• You have the ability to read and interpret construction drawings, technical specifications and design packages
• You hold a valid CSCS card and Full driving licence
• You have excellent communication skills and proficiency in MS Office and construction-related software
