Job summary

Kier Group plc is seeking a Site Agent for the United Utilities Framework based in the North West of England. You will lead on-site operations to deliver essential projects safely, on time and within budget, while upholding the highest quality standards.

This role places you at the heart of site operations, coordinating teams, subcontractors and interfaces with clients and regulators to ensure smooth delivery.

Qualifications

  • Experience leading on-site construction projects within a similar industry.
  • Ability to read construction drawings, specs and contracts.
  • Strong leadership of site teams and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing all on-site construction activities, ensuring safe, timely, and budget-conscious project completion
  • Managing site resources and monthly costs, including labour, materials, and equipment to maximise efficiency
  • Coordinating and delegating tasks among site teams and subcontractors, providing regular progress updates
  • Ensuring full compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting site inspections and addressing issues promptly
  • Maintaining accurate site records, including progress reports, risk assessments, and health and safety documentation

Job description

We're looking for a Site Agent to join our United Utilities Framework based in North West of England. Location: North West of England Hours: 45 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us. We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role. Join us as a Site Agent and take the lead in managing construction sites that deliver essential projects to our customers. You'll be at the heart of site operations, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and within budget while maintaining the highest quality standards. This is an opportunity to work collaboratively with diverse teams, clients, and regulatory bodies, making a real difference in the communities we serve.

Responsibilities

What we’re looking for
  • You have demonstrable experience in site management and project delivery within a similar industry
  • You can read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts with confidence
  • You have strong leadership abilities to manage site teams, subcontractors, and resources effectively
  • You possess in-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance requirements in construction
  • You hold a Full driving licence and are willing to travel to various construction sites
