Job summary

Daniel Owen Ltd is seeking a Site Agent to support highways, infrastructure and civil engineering projects across the South East. The role may involve managing a single project or multiple schemes depending on requirements.

You will produce RAMS, manage programmes, monitor progress and lead health and safety initiatives on site. Experience with Bluebeam and a valid CSCS card are essential; driving licence required.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years' civil engineering experience.
• Previous experience as a Sub-Agent, Agent or Senior Engineer looking to step up.
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure, highways or civils projects.
• Experience using Bluebeam.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

Site Agent

Hemel Hempstead & South East Projects | £50,000 - £60,000

We are working with a well-established civil engineering and infrastructure contractor seeking either a Sub-Agent or Agent to support the delivery of highways, infrastructure and civil engineering projects across the South East. Projects range from £2m to £5m and are delivered for Tier 1 contractors. The successful candidate will either manage a single project or oversee multiple schemes depending on project requirements.

The Role

• Producing and reviewing RAMS
• Assisting with and managing project programmes
• Programme and phasing mark-ups
• Monitoring and driving site progress
• Supporting project health, safety and quality performance
• Carrying out take-offs and measurements using Bluebeam
• Material take-offs, call-offs and stock control
• Procurement support and material reconciliations
• Delivering toolbox talks
• Reviewing lift plans and temporary works
• Managing inspection and test plans
• Maintaining quality management records
• Site meetings and client liaison
• CAT & Genny scanning and service marking
• Undertaking H&S inspections
• Supporting change management processes

Requirements
