Job summary

Brixen is seeking an experienced Site Agent to join the civils & infrastructure delivery team on project-based work across Bedfordshire. The role focuses on hands-on site delivery, leading teams and ensuring projects run safely, efficiently and to programme.

You’ll manage day-to-day site operations, coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, Commercial, HSEQ, clients and subcontractors, and ensure RAMS, ITPs and quality standards are met while maintaining progress and handover readiness.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Site Agent / Site Manager within civils or infrastructure.
• Experience across highways, earthworks, S278 or similar.
• HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• SMSTS
• CSCS Manager-level card
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Full clean driving licence

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Site Agent to join a growing delivery team, working across civils and infrastructure projects.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys taking ownership of site delivery, leading teams and making sure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day management and coordination of site operations, working closely with Project Managers, Engineers, Commercial, HSEQ, clients and subcontractors.

You’ll be involved in:

• Managing site teams, engineers, supervisors and subcontractors
• Planning and sequencing works and managing short-term programmes
• Overseeing RAMS, ITPs, quality and HSEQ requirements
• Managing labour, plant and materials
• Monitoring progress and taking corrective action where needed

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a Site Agent / Site Manager within civils or infrastructure
• Experience across highways, earthworks, S278 or similar
• HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience
• SMSTS
• CSCS Manager-level card
• Strong understanding of civil engineering and construction methods
• Good commercial and contractual awareness
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Full clean driving licence

Experience working with developers, local authorities or National Highways would be advantageous.

You’ll need to be comfortable travelling and working away when required.
