SISS Station Systems Technician - Level 4 (On-site in London, United Kingdom)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working with technical experts to make a significant impact. Be part of a high-performing team handling complex and critical infrastructure projects.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the successful candidate will perform planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on CCTV, CIS, PA, and SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role involves working permanent nights from Sunday to Thursday, 10 pm to 6 am, based at Pirin Court Depot near Canning Town.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting qualified technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens.
• Attending planned, remedial, and corrective maintenance tasks.
• Maintaining SISS assets and reporting/stemming station communication faults.
• Using field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data.
• Liaising with Telent Service Centre for tasking and fault updates.

Candidate Profile:

This entry-level role suits hands-on individuals who enjoy multitasking and learning. Experience in a similar role or understanding of Network Rail health & safety procedures is advantageous.

Key Requirements:

• CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background.
• Proficiency with O365 and IT awareness.
• Problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Willingness to work nights from Pirin Court Service Centre.
