SISS Station Systems Technician - Level 4 - London, United Kingdom (On-site)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working alongside technical experts committed to impactful work. Be part of a high-performing team maintaining critical infrastructure.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the successful candidate will perform planned preventative and reactive maintenance on CCTV, CIS, PA, and SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role involves working permanent nights from Sunday to Thursday, 10 pm to 6 am, at our Pirin Court Depot near Canning Town.

Station System Technician Responsibilities:

• Assist qualified technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens.
• Attend to planned, remedial, and corrective maintenance tasks.
• Maintain SISS assets and report station communication faults.
• Use field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data.
• Coordinate with Telent Service Centre for tasks and fault updates.

Who You Are:

This entry-level role suits hands-on individuals who enjoy multitasking and learning. Experience in a similar role or understanding of Network Rail health & safety procedures is advantageous.

Key Requirements:

• CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background.
• Understanding of O365 and IT awareness.
• Problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Availability to work nights from Pirin Court Service Centre, Sunday to Thursday, 10 pm to 6 am.
