Job Description:

SISS Station Systems Technician - Level 4 - London, United Kingdom (On-site)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working closely with technical experts. Be part of a high-performing team engaged in complex and critical work to support the nation's critical infrastructure.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the successful candidate will carry out planned preventative maintenance and assist with reactive maintenance on CCTV, CIS, PA, and SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role involves working permanent nights from Sunday to Thursday, 10 pm to 6 am, based at Pirin Court Depot near Canning Town.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting qualified technicians in fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens.
• Attending planned, remedial, and corrective maintenance tasks.
• Maintaining SISS assets and reporting station communication faults.
• Using field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data.
• Coordinating with Telent Service Centre for task updates and completions.

Who you are:

This is an entry-level role suitable for hands-on individuals who enjoy multitasking and learning. Experience in a similar role or understanding of Network Rail safety procedures is advantageous.

Key Requirements:

• CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background.
• Good understanding of Office 365 and IT awareness.
• Problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Availability to work nights from Pirin Court Service Centre.
