Job Description:

SISS Station Systems Technician - Level 4 London, United Kingdom (On-site)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working with technical experts committed to impactful work. Be part of a high-performing team managing complex and critical infrastructure.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the Station Systems Technician will perform planned preventative maintenance and assist with reactive repairs on CCTV, CIS, PA, SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role involves working permanent nights from Sunday to Thursday, 10 pm to 6 am, at our Pirin Court Depot near Canning Town.

Responsibilities:

• Assist senior technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens
• Attend planned and remedial maintenance tasks
• Maintain SISS assets and report station communication faults
• Use field IT equipment for maintenance data
• Coordinate with Telent Service Centre for fault updates and task completion

Ideal Candidate:

This entry-level role suits hands-on individuals who can multi-task and are eager to learn. Experience in a similar role or knowledge of Network Rail safety procedures is advantageous.

Key Requirements:

• CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background
• Proficiency with O365 and IT awareness
• Problem-solving and fault-finding skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Willingness to work nights at Pirin Court Service Centre
