SISS Station Systems Technician - Level 4 London, United Kingdom (On-site)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent and be empowered to innovate and contribute to critical infrastructure projects. Collaborate with technical experts and be part of a high-performing team handling complex work to support the nation's infrastructure.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the Station Systems Technician will perform planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on CCTV, CIS, PA, and SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role is permanent night shifts, Sunday to Thursday, 10pm to 6am, based at Pirin Court Depot near Canning Town.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist qualified technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens.
2. Attend to planned, remedial, and corrective maintenance tasks.
3. Maintain SISS assets and ensure station communication faults are reported and resolved.
4. Use field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data.
5. Coordinate with Telent Service Centre for task updates and completions.

Candidate Profile:

This entry-level role is suitable for hands-on individuals who enjoy multitasking and learning. The ideal candidate has experience or understanding of Network Rail health & safety procedures.

Key Requirements:

• Background in CCTV, IP networking, or electrical work.
• Proficiency with O365 and IT awareness.
• Problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Willingness to work nights at Pirin Court Service Centre.
