SISS Station Systems Technician - Level 4 - Liverpool, United Kingdom (On-site)

Join Telent's Engineering Team and be empowered to innovate and drive solutions, working alongside technical experts committed to impactful work. Be part of a high-performing team managing complex infrastructure projects and helping to build and maintain the nation's critical infrastructure.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the successful candidate will carry out planned preventative maintenance and assist with reactive maintenance on CCTV, CIS, PA, and SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). This role involves working permanent nights from Sunday to Thursday, 10pm to 6am, at Pirin Court Depot near Canning Town.

Station Systems Technician Responsibilities:

1. Assist qualified technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens.
2. Attend planned, remedial, and corrective maintenance tasks.
3. Ensure SISS assets are maintained and station communication faults are reported and resolved.
4. Utilise field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data.
5. Liaise with Telent Service Centre regarding tasking, fault updates, and completions.

Candidate Profile:

This entry-level role is suitable for hands-on individuals eager to learn and multi-task. Experience in a similar role or understanding of Network Rail health & safety procedures is advantageous.

Key Requirements:

• Background in CCTV, IP networking, or electrical systems.
• Good knowledge of O365 and IT awareness.
• Problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Ability to work nights from Pirin Court Service Centre, Sunday to Thursday, 10pm to 6am.
