Job description

SISS Station Systems Technician - Level 4 - Chester, United Kingdom (On-site)

Join Telent's engineering team as a Station Systems Technician, Level 4, working on critical infrastructure projects. This role involves maintenance of CCTV, CIS, PA, and SISS systems, primarily during night shifts from Sunday to Thursday, 10 pm to 6 am, based at Pirin Court Depot near Canning Town.

Responsibilities:
  1. Assist qualified technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens.
  2. Perform planned, remedial, and corrective maintenance tasks.
  3. Maintain SISS assets and report station communication faults.
  4. Utilize field IT equipment for maintenance data.
  5. Coordinate with Telent Service Centre for task updates and completions.
Candidate Profile:

Ideal for hands-on individuals eager to learn, with experience in similar roles or understanding of Network Rail health & safety procedures. The role suits those with a CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background, IT awareness, problem-solving skills, and a full UK driving license.
