SISS Station Systems Technician - Level 4 - Northampton, United Kingdom (On-site)

Join Telent's Engineering Team to innovate and develop solutions that impact the nation's critical infrastructure. Be part of a high-performing team undertaking complex and essential work.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the Station Systems Technician will perform planned preventative maintenance and assist with reactive repairs on CCTV, CIS, PA, and SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). This role involves working permanent nights from Sunday to Thursday, 10pm to 6am, based at Pirin Court Depot near Canning Town.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist qualified technicians in fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens.
2. Attend to planned, remedial, and corrective maintenance tasks.
3. Maintain SISS assets and ensure station communication faults are reported and resolved.
4. Utilize field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data.
5. Coordinate with Telent Service Centre for tasking and fault updates.

Candidate Profile:

This entry-level role is suitable for hands-on individuals who enjoy multitasking and learning. Experience in a similar role or understanding of Network Rail health & safety procedures is advantageous.

Key Requirements:

• CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background.
• Proficiency with O365 and IT awareness.
• Problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Availability to work nights from Pirin Court Service Centre.
