SISS Station Systems Technician - Level 4London, United Kingdom (On-site)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent, where you'll be empowered to innovate and collaborate with technical experts. Be part of a high-performing team undertaking complex and critical work to build and maintain the nation's infrastructure.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the successful Station Systems Technician will perform planned preventative maintenance and assist with reactive repairs on CCTV, CIS, PA, and SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The position is permanent night shift, Sunday to Thursday, 10pm to 6am, based at Pirin Court Depot near Canning Town.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist experienced technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens.
2. Perform planned, remedial, and corrective maintenance tasks.
3. Maintain SISS assets and report/fix station communication faults.
4. Use field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data.
5. Coordinate with Telent Service Centre for task updates and completion.

Candidate Profile:

This entry-level role is ideal for hands-on individuals who enjoy multi-tasking and learning. The Level 4 Technician role suits those with experience in similar roles or knowledge of Network Rail health & safety procedures.

Key Requirements:

• Background in CCTV, IP networking, or electrical systems.
• Proficiency with O365 and IT awareness.
• Problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Willingness to work nights from Pirin Court Service Centre.
