Job Description:

SISS Station Systems Technician - Level 4 - Based in London, United Kingdom (On-site)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent, where you'll be empowered to innovate and work closely with technical experts on complex and critical infrastructure projects. Be part of a high-performing team that helps build and maintain the nation's critical infrastructure.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the successful candidate will carry out planned preventative maintenance and assist with reactive maintenance on CCTV, CIS, PA, and SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role involves working permanent nights from Sunday to Thursday, 10pm to 6am, at our Pirin Court Depot near Canning Town.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist qualified technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens
• Attend planned, remedial, and corrective maintenance tasks
• Ensure SISS assets are well maintained and station communication faults are reported and resolved
• Utilize field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data
• Liaise with Telent Service Centre for tasking, fault updates, and completion

Candidate Profile:

This entry-level role suits hands-on individuals who enjoy multitasking and learning. Experience in a similar role or understanding of Network Rail health & safety procedures is advantageous.

Requirements:

• CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background
• Good understanding of MS Office 365 and IT awareness
• Problem-solving and fault-finding skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Willingness to work nights from Pirin Court Service Centre
